One Iowa city could change it's fireworks laws


CRESTON, Iowa - Shooting fireworks off inside the city limits of Creston will be illegal this Independence Day, just as it's always been in the Iowa city.

But City Administrator Mike Taylor told KXCV/KRNW that he expects things to be different this time next year.

Taylor adds that Creston's hasn't officially taken action on the issue, but is mocking up an amendment to the city's ordinance that should be implemented by the Fourth of July next year.
